We will send you a link for our own guide to The Ironmongers Boutique and things to do a few days pre-arrival. 

 

Q:   What are the check-in and check-out times?

A: Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am. Please contact us , we are flexible.

Q:   How do I get my Keys?

A: Access is through smart door locks so no keys are needed. Codes will be sent by text message on the day of your arrival. Please read the guide  !!!! 

Please sms message if not received by 12pm on your arrival day.

Q:   Is there car parking?

A: There is no on-site parking however, Aylsham offers 2 free car parks less than 80m and

250m away from the Ironmongers. Please see parking map on this site.

Q:   Is the hotel dog friendly?

A: We are pleased to offer 2 dog-friendly rooms for well-behaved dogs at a cost of £15/stay in the Haberdashery or Tailors. Please contact us directly to arrange this. And if you tag a photo of your canine friend enjoying their stay on Instagram to enjoy 10% off your next stay!

Q:   What about breakfast ?

A: We encourage you to support local businesses, so there is  yummy Breadsource downstairs, a  Ms (Emma) TAPAS and cocktail bar,  The Tea Rooms , Biddys, Black boys restaurant, all serving lovely fresh local food.  

Q:   Does the hotel have disabled access?

A: All rooms are located on the first and second stories of the building, and so we are unable

to offer lift access.

Q:   What is the room cancellation policy?

A: Please read our cancellation policy. There is a charge levied to cover admin and also stripe card fees which we can do nothing about.  Rebooking is also an option.

Q:   What are some of the nearby attractions?

A: From walks to award-winning pubs, bustling bakeries and an abundance of cafes, there’s

plenty to do. 5 minutes away you will find Blickling Hall, an iconic National Trust home and

gardens with a magnificent lake and woodland. There is also the Bure Valley Railway and

the local Bure river which are wonderful spots for kayaking and canoeing adventures.

Q:   Are there any child-friendly attractions nearby?

A: For the kids, there is Blickling Hall, Bewilderwood, crabbing and paddling at the Norfolk

beaches, Bure Valley Railway, boating on the Broads, kayaking on local rivers, hilltop

adventures, Norwich Castle, Wroxham Barns ......... the list goes on!

Q:   Are all the rooms the same?

A: Our 8 beautiful grade 2 listed historic bedrooms have been individually decorated to a high standard, each offering a unique and boutique accommodation experience.

Q:  What are the room facilities?

A: All our bedrooms are ready to provide a luxurious and relaxing stay, with a tea & coffee

corner, luxury bathrooms, and a smart TV.
